Search Films on Demand and Ebrary Through Our Library Catalog

You can now search for Films on Demand and Ebrary ebooks through our library catalog.  We have loaded the records so one search will find everything in our print collection, our previous ebook holdings, and also items from our Films on Demand and Ebrary subscriptions.  This should make it easier to find the resources you need to complete your education at Century College.

Just go to the library home page and type your search in the box under the Books & More tab.  Click Find to get started.

Check out a Kindle for Winter Break

We just added three more titles to our Kindles:

  • Zero Day / David Baldacci
  • Steve Jobs / Walter Isaacson
  • The time of our lives / Tom Brokaw
We have several Kindles available right now that you could check out for winter break.  There are currently 18 titles on each Kindle, including Zeitoun, Century's common book.  We add a few popular titles each month. The Kindles circulate for three weeks with no renewal. If you want to borrow one and they are all checked out, you can place a hold using our online catalog and we will notify you when one becomes available.

Mobile Access to Library Resources

One of our vendors of online resources, EBSCO, just released an Android app for searching EBSCO.  It's available  as a free download from the Android Market. The app can be used on devices running Android v. 2.1 or later.  An iPhone app is also available.
