New Online Resource - Opposing Viewpoints
Just in time for the new semester, our library has purchased an online subscription to Gale’s Opposing Viewpoints database. This resource is a one-stop source for information on social issues, featuring viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazine, academic journal, and newspaper articles, primary source documents, statistics, images and podcasts, and links to Websites. New Online Islamic Resource
Our library has purchased a print resource from Oxford Press that also provided an online subscription to Oxford Islamic Studies Online (OISO) for one year. This resource offers online access to the history and culture of Islam, and providing full text access to great Oxford reference and scholarly works including The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern Islamic World, The Oxford History of Islam, The Oxford Dictionary of Islam, two classic interpretations of the Qur'an, a Concordance of the Qur'an, and more. We have added over 400 electronic books to our collection. To see the complete list, search our catalog for the keyword Netlibrary. You can find books on a particular topic in electronic format by searching your keywords and using the dropdown labeled Select a Library Catalog. Choose electronic resources.

Library Grand Opening Coming Soon!
The Century Science/Library Building Grand Opening will be on September 18, starting at 11 am with a bagpipe procession across the bridge from West to East campus. Here's the rest of the schedule:
- 11:30 Program
- 12-12:30 Complimentary lunch with entertainment by Eric Graham & Associates
- 12:30 - 4 pm Building tours, activities and demonstrations

New Library!
The East and West Libraries have moved into the new Science/Library building. The new library opened June 9. Some construction work continues and many student computers are still to be installed, but the library collection is available and is getting plenty of use.

News on the Library Move
East Library will close to the public on May 16th. We will reopen in the new library facility on June 2nd.
During this time, from May 19th to May 30th, the West Library will remain open. It will
then close to the public on June 2nd.
