Two New Databases

Check out 2 new databases, which we get for free from EBSCO:
  • Teacher Reference Center, which Indexes over 260 titles from teacher and administrator trade journals, periodicals, and books.
  • GreenFILE, which focuses on the relationship between human beings and the environment. Includes more than 600 scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports.

March 2009 Display Case

March is Women's History Month! The theme for Women's History Month is Women Taking the Lead to Save our Planet. The display case is packed with interesting books about women scientists whose lives show exceptional vision and leadership. Many areas of scientific work are covered including the environment, health discoveries, and animals. Stop in the library and check it out!

New Virtual Reference Books

We just added 15 new online reference books to our collection, including titles like Complete Human Diseases and Conditions, Shakespeare for Students, Climate Change in Context, the Gale Encyclopedia of Science, and much more. You can find these and other online reference books in our catalog, which is available on our library home page, http://www.century.edu/library/. You may just come across them when searching by topic, but if you want to see a complete list, search for Gale Virtual Reference.
