This week Century College Library is celebrating in more way than one.
We’ve set up a chess board for our students who need a mental break from final projects.
For those needing to be creative, a table for blackout poetry is set up! What is blackout poetry? Well, You blackout all the words you DON'T want to use. Take a marker and outline the words you would like to use for your poem. Remember, the words will be read left to right and top to bottom. Once you have found the words you would like to use, black out the rest of the words on the page. The leftover poem will look like a redacted document.
Library staff also wants to hear from our patrons. What are your favorites? Write them down on the board!
Oh, and there are also free books and prizes! The Century College Library will have a drawing at the end of the week. Prizes include a book tote, a copy of Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro, and Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring.
Come check out National Library Week!
