Learn More About the Library! Library Orientations Tuesdays at 10:00!

Do you want to know more about the library? We will offer two 45-minute Library Orientations per month, during the months of February, March and April, at 10:00 a.m. The orientations will be held in the library classroom, E1852.

Part I Library Orientations - first Tuesdays of the month:
• Library policies
• The library webpage and library resources
• Locating material in the library - collections and call numbers
• Inter-Library Loans for books and videos

Part II Library Orientations - third Tuesdays of the month:
• Choosing a database
• Database searches
• E-Books
• Films on Demand
• Q & A – bring your questions. (If we don’t know, we’ll find out and let you know.)

February 21 Part II
March 6 Part I
March 20 Part II
April 3 Part I
April 17 Part II

There will be signup sheet at the reference desk in the library, or you can respond by e-mail, askalibrarian@century.edu, indicating which session you would like to attend.

We will cap enrollment for each session at 30. We will cancel the class if fewer than 5 people are signed up for the class by Thursday of the prior week. E-mail notices will be sent out if a session is canceled, or if a session is full at the time of your request.
