Bannned Books: Why Can't I Read That?

September 30 is the beginning of Banned Books Week: time to review the many titles that have been banned, objected to, or criticized because the content was offensive (to someone or some group).  Here are some examples from the Huffington Post: "Anne Frank's diary has been banned on multiple occasions. The most recent was in January 2010 when the book was pulled from a Virginia school for "sexually explicit" and "homosexual" themes." Interested in other "objectionable" titles?  Check out the display in the library and take home a banned book to see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
