Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is January 20th. This federal holiday honors the civil rights leader with a national call to service. Dr. King encouraged all citizens to live up to the purpose and potential of America by applying the principles of nonviolence to make this country a better place to live.
