Submit a YouTube Video for the Virtual Read-Out

The Century College Library will be celebrating the freedom to read during Banned Books Week, September 30 – October 6,  by sponsoring a Virtual Read-Out via YouTube.  

•  Create a video no more than 3 minutes long of a reading from a banned book. 
• The video should include information on where and why the book was banned, and you can also comment on why the book is important.   
• Post the video to YouTube and send the URL of the video by October 2 to randi.madisen@century.edu.   

We will create a playlist of videos for Banned Books Week at Century.  To get you started, here is a list of banned literary classics and lists of frequently challenged books.
