Enter a Drawing to Win a Banned Book!

Century Library celebrates the freedom to read during Banned Books Week, Sept. 30 - October 6.

• Enter a drawing at the circulation desk to win copies of books that have been challenged or banned:
• The Hunger Games trilogy
• Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers
• Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi
• Check out a challenged or banned book from our display.
• Submit a video for our  Virtual Read-out:
• Create a video no more than 3 minutes long of a reading from a banned book. 
• The video should include information on where and why the book was banned, and you can also comment on why the book is important.
• Post the video to YouTube and send the URL of the video by October 2 to randi.madisen@century.edu.
